Just being cheerful, carefree and happy
I don't want to complicate this blog post. I have very important people in my life that I have hurt over and over again. My spouse, friends, family. I am struggling with inner turmoil, but I know I can be positive and have a positive impact on those around me.
I'm not going to get into the details, but through all this change over the last three months, it has led me to two conculsions. One, don't affraid to be happy. I know that sounds selfish but it's not. Two, just be honest and tell the truth. You'll feel better about it in the long run.
Being happy to me means being able to let go of the past and focus on the future. I can't change what has already occured. Life is a moving train. It moves on with out you, so don't get bogged down in the details. That is something I really need to keep reminding myself.
Honesty seems the hardest thing for me to do. I grip with my different mood swings, the over-indulging, and chronic depression. The only thing I can do to improve is to make clear, rational, sober decisions on my future--too many people are depending on me to do so.
And with that being said, I will strive to be positive, optimistic and be hopeful this hoilday season. Why waste the energy being negitive--I have too many good things in my life for that!
I am hopeful for an amazing 2014!
